Pick five different mechs and a weapon family for each. Weapon suggestions are tactical and do not validate in-game energy or ownership.

Recommendations use a transparent role-coverage heuristic, not official match data, hidden matchmaking statistics, or guaranteed counters. Each mech is scheduled once; adapt to your teammate and the actual arena.
Choose your combat role and available energy capacity to get a practical loadout direction. Recommendations are strategic examples, not live game stats.
Always verify the current in-game energy costs, equipment compatibility and balance changes before upgrading.

Watch capture points, protect teammates on objectives, and rotate before the enemy establishes control.
Pair frontline pressure with ranged support. Avoid stacking your entire team in one vulnerable lane.
Best for: Ambushes and short engagements.
Focus on positioning, escape routes, and staying inside effective range.
Best for: Flexible team fights.
Balance safe angles, consistent damage and objective coverage.
Best for: Lane control and precision.
Prioritize sightlines and relocate when enemies flank your position.
Pick a mech to see recommended weapon families, why they fit its ability, practical playstyle, and common mistakes. These are tactical pairings, not a current damage-tier ranking or a guarantee that a particular energy variant fits.
Energy values differ by mech rank and weapon variant. The energy field shows a planning split only; it does not certify availability or compatibility.
Use movement, shields, disabling effects or damage buffs to create a safe firing window.
Keep both weapons effective at the same distance instead of forcing incompatible engagements.
Confirm actual weapon energy, slot availability and current game balance before spending resources.

Avoid spreading upgrades across every mech and weapon you unlock.
Try different ranges and combat roles before making expensive long-term upgrade decisions.
Track whether you lost to positioning, range mismatch, poor objective play, or low equipment power.

SPECIAL MODE PLAYBOOK
Official mode rules: 2v2, up to five 90-second rounds, first team to three round wins. You must choose a different Mech every round. Equipment is maxed for battle, subject to league-specific restrictions. Verify updates in-game.
Bring a varied hangar. Plan a dependable opening pick, a close-range response, a safe midrange option, and a reserve counter for late rounds. Coordinate with your teammate rather than duplicating the same weakness.
Leagues 4 and 3 disable Pilots, Implants and Mods; League 2 enables Pilots and Implants; League 1 allows all three. Mech rarity and rank affect your Showdown League. Avoid assuming your normal loadout behaves identically.
The first 10 daily matches contribute Battle Points. Further matches can still award Ranking Points and XP. Prioritize consistency, thoughtful team play, and a balanced hangar over risky experiments during scoring matches.
Reach Division 7 and have at least four Mechs in your Hangar. Matchmaking uses a separate Hangar Showdown League, so consider the whole squad when upgrading.
Strategy is editorial advice, not a guarantee of results. Read official Hangar Showdown rules.
ARENA FIELD MANUAL
Map names and broad characteristics are based on official game descriptions. The playbook recommendations are situational; sightlines, spawns and map layouts should be verified in-game. These are not literal map diagrams.
Locate two cover options, the likely enemy approach and a safe fallback route.
Recheck the minimap. Rotate only when the objective or next engagement justifies exposure.
Avoid repeating the same exposed route. Regroup, trade angles and contest a more defensible position.
HIGHER-LEVEL SKILLS
Hold a different angle from an ally so one enemy cannot safely face both of you. Stay close enough to support a retreat.
Do not spend your movement or defensive ability merely to arrive first. Save it for a favorable engagement or escape when possible.
Prioritize isolated or exposed opponents that can be eliminated safely. Do not chase a low-health mech into multiple enemies.
Break line of sight, use alternate covered routes and coordinate a flank. Avoid crossing an open lane one at a time.
Keep distance, maintain an escape route and force opponents to approach through predictable cover gaps.
Use concise calls: target, lane and intent. Agree on who anchors, who contests and who covers the rotation.
