Long sightline maps
Move between cover rather than crossing open ground continuously. Check for enemy firing angles before peeking. A long-range player should reposition after revealing a predictable firing position.
Close-quarter maps
Keep abilities ready for corner engagements. Avoid chasing enemies into blind turns without teammate support. A strong short-range weapon still needs an escape route after the first burst.
Mixed-range maps
Control the transitions between open lanes and tight spaces. A flexible squad can bait enemies into unfavorable range instead of fighting where the opponent is strongest.
Control Point Clash fundamentals
- Secure nearby objectives without leaving the center uncontested.
- Rotate when a point becomes too costly to defend.
- Prefer living teammates and sustainable map control over a reckless elimination.
Deathmatch fundamentals
- Maintain overlapping sightlines with teammates.
- Don't expose two teammates to the same explosive or area attack.
- Reset after winning a trade rather than immediately pushing into unknown angles.
10-minute map training routine
- 2 minutes: Identify three safe cover positions.
- 3 minutes: Practice a flank and an escape route.
- 3 minutes: Test one long and one short firing angle.
- 2 minutes: Review where you were eliminated and why.
