Four questions before equipping a weapon

  1. Can the mech reach the weapon's useful range without losing too much health?
  2. Does the ability create a firing window or a safe escape?
  3. Will the weapon fit the mech's current energy capacity?
  4. Does this loadout fill a missing role in the five-mech hangar?

Match weapons to map geometry

Long sightlines reward patient precision. Tight corridors favor burst and careful corner play. Open crossing areas reward mobility and disciplined cover-to-cover movement.

Practice drill

Play three matches with one loadout. Record the range of each elimination, how often you were caught reloading, and whether you had an exit route. Change one variable at a time.

This guide focuses on tactical weapon categories rather than unverified damage statistics. Always check current in-game numbers before upgrading.
